A wandering gun for hire walks into a town where two rivaling families live. By turning them against each other he makes his money.
I believe this is one of the first spaghetti westerns made, and that created a ton of more movies in the same genre. The plot is simple yet entertaining. It's the dialog and acting that makes this movie shine. Clint Eastwood fits the role of an unnamed gunslinger perfectly. We never quite know what he will do next, yet we trust it will be something smart.
I was surprised at how good this movie looked considering its from 1964, but the picture and quality is top notch and the use of widescreen improves on the feel of the movie. The music is also great and the theme throughout fits the movie. All in all 8/10
